While Poly scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. They and the Valley View Eagles finished up their match with a 4-4 draw on Monday. While a more conclusive result would've been nice, the Bears got plenty of practice considering the match was the highest-scoring draw the team's played all season.
They hit Valley View with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Damian Lopez (2), Adrian Navarro, and Tito Perez.
Poly's draw gives them a new season record of 11-4-4. As for Valley View, they moved theirs to 9-7-2.
Poly wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-2 loss against Arlington on the 31st. As for Valley View, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Paloma Valley on the 29th.
