After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Swain County, Rosman was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Hiwassee Dam Eagles. For the Tigers, this counts as revenge for the 12-11 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2023.
Eli McCall was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). McCall was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2025.
In other batting news, Hudson Reese was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Tyler Rollins also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Rosman's record now sits at 4-9. As for Hiwassee Dam, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
