Basketball Game Preview: Niceville Eagles vs. Milton Panthers

Niceville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. Everything went their way against Pace as Niceville made off with a 53-31 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Carson Fayard was her usual excellent self, putting up 24 points and seven boards. She has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Gabriella Diaz was another key player, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Milton hadn't done well against Crestview recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Milton came out on top against Crestview by a score of 47-39. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Milton has also been performing well recently as they've won 14 of their last 17 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Niceville, they pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Niceville strolled past Milton in their previous matchup on Friday by a score of 46-32. Will Niceville repeat their success, or does Milton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
