Soccer Recap: St. Cloud Comes Up Short

St. Cloud lost against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Cloud Bulldogs lost 5-0 to the Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while the Tigers are ranked 70th).

St. Cloud has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3-2.

St. Cloud will be playing at home against Tohopekaliga at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Cloud is facing Tohopekaliga at the right time seeing as Tohopekaliga is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy, they will head out to face off against Oakleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
