Football Preview: Legacy Tigers vs. Sylmar Spartans        
        
		
             The Legacy Tigers will host the Sylmar Spartans  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both come into the  game bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Legacy took a loss when they played away from home  two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Friday. Everything went their way against Garfield as Legacy made off with  a  42-21 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Tigers have posted  since August 29th.
 Legacy was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 349  rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Garfield only rushed for 174.
 Meanwhile, Sylmar owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance two weeks ago. They came out on top against Van Nuys by a score of  13-0.
  Jacob Mcdonald continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 163 yards and a touchdown, while also rushing for 81 yards on only 11 carries.
 Sylmar didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over.  Reyleo Reyes led the group effort, picking up two of those  interceptions all by himself.
 Sylmar pushed their record up to 6-4 with the  win, which was their third straight  at home. Those good results were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points per game. As for Legacy,  with the  victory, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.
