Centaurus's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They skirted past the Erie Tigers 3-2. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Centaurus wouldn't go down easily and took Erie into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 21-25, 21-25, 25-18, 17-15.

Olivia Harris and Devon Twito certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Harris had 17 digs and five aces, while Twito had five digs and two aces. Twito is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Centaurus' victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Erie, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Centaurus will take on rival Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Erie is set to face off against their familiar foe Silver Creek at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
