Elsinore waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the El Camino Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elsinore got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaiah Word out in front who had 22 assists. Brandon Boatman Firmes also deserves some recognition as he served his first ace of the season.

Elsinore's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for El Camino, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Elsinore wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Clairemont on the 15th. As for El Camino, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Santa Fe Christian on the 15th.
