The Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers will take on the Herscher Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Bradley-Bourbonnais is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They never let Marian Catholic get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Boilermakers haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lydia Hammond made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, Suttyn Hop was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Tristin Woods was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Bradley-Bourbonnais was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marian Catholic only posted a batting average of .118.

She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Hackley was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Herscher got a big performance out of Emery Fritz, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was RyLyn Adams, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.
