Baseball Game Preview: Godwin Heights Wolverines vs. Comstock Park Panthers

For the second straight game, Godwin Heights will face off against Comstock Park. The Wolverines will host the Panthers at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.

Godwin Heights made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Comstock Park, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Wolverines fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Higino Rolon was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with five stolen bases and one RBI.

The win got Comstock Park back to even at 1-1. As for Godwin Heights, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
