Walled Lake Northern had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Adams Highlanders by a score of 3-1. The game was the first time the Knights have beaten the Highlanders on their court since October 26, 2016.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Allie Epley was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 12 digs.

Walled Lake Northern has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Bloomfield Hills on the 23rd. As for Adams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Marian on the 23rd.
