With a playoff win on the line, Buckeye Local rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won three contests in a row.

Buckeye Local's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Tuscarawas Valley, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Buckeye Local will head out to square off against St. Clairsville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Devils' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Tuscarawas Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
