Soccer Recap: Colleyville Heritage Extends Winning Streak to Nine

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Colleyville Heritage had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let Midlothian get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. It was an even better day for Addison Shimmick as she scored three goals for her team.

The win (which was Colleyville Heritage's ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-2-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those nine contests. As for Midlothian, with the loss, they broke their 20-game winning streak and moved their record to 23-2-1.

Coming up, Colleyville Heritage will take on A&M Consolidated at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. A&M Consolidated will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something Colleyville Heritage surely won't give up without a fight. Midlothian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
