Basketball Recap: MOT Charter Takes a Loss

After flying high against Odyssey Charter last Monday, MOT Charter came back down to earth. The MOT Charter Mustangs took a 56-42 bruising from the St. Elizabeth Vikings on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost four in a row.

MOT Charter's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for St. Elizabeth, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. MOT Charter will venture away from home to challenge Delaware Military Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Elizabeth, they will head out on the road to take on Sanford at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday. Sanford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.2 points per game this season.
