Monte Vista came into Friday's contest looking for another win against Pagosa Springs, but Seth Zeigler wouldn't allow it. Pagosa Springs took down Monte Vista 53-34 on Friday thanks to Zeigler, who posted 19 points and eight boards. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Monte Vista still got an impressive performance from Kaden Madrid, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 16 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Madrid is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game.

Pagosa Springs' record is now 5-12. As for Monte Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.
