Basketball Game Preview: Prosser Falcons vs. Mather Rangers

The Prosser Falcons will face off against the Mather Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prosser will be strutting in after a victory while Mather will be coming in after a loss.

Last Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Prosser beat Steinmetz College Prep 52-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Meanwhile, Mather suffered their closest defeat since February 2nd on Tuesday. They fell just short of Senn by a score of 49-46.

Prosser will have to contain Adin Smajlovic as he made an impact in Mather's last game. He went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points in addition to seven rebounds and five assists. Smajlovic's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Chalwe, who posted six points and seven rebounds.

Prosser's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Mather, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Prosser came up short against Mather in their previous meeting back in January, falling 63-58. Can Prosser avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
