Basketball Recap: New Covenant Academy Takes a Loss

New Covenant Academy lost against Pleasant Hope back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The New Covenant Academy Warriors took a 69-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pleasant Hope Pirates. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

New Covenant Academy now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Pleasant Hope, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Covenant Academy will challenge Billings at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pleasant Hope, they will venture away from home to face off against Aurora Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aurora Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pleasant Hope surely won't give up without a fight.
