For the second straight game, Bishop will face off against Santa Fe Christian. The Knights will welcome the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop's is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.

Bishop's fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Santa Fe Christian on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6. The Knights have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

For Santa Fe Christian's part, Kylan Brunn looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Brunn has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Jackson Noonan was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Santa Fe Christian is undefeated when Noonan posts two or more runs, but 10-12 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Moran, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

The victory (which was Santa Fe Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 14-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bishop's, their loss dropped their record down to 16-10-1.
