Basketball Game Preview: Golden Demons vs. Pomona Panthers

The Golden Demons will head out on the road to challenge the Pomona Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Golden is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Thomas Jefferson just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 56-53.

Meanwhile, Pomona earned a 46-36 win over Adams City on Friday.

Pomona's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Golden, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Golden didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Pomona when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 67-61 win. Does Golden have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pomona turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
