Marissa Holder Game Report: vs St. George's

Marissa Holder continued her hot streak on Thursday by dropping her 12th-straight game with at least eight boards. She dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 boards. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against St. George back in January of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. That makes it five consecutive games in which Holder has scored at least a third of Piedmont Academy's points.

Holder's strong effort led Piedmont Academy over St. George's and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Holder hasn't had any trouble running up the score (she's averaged 24.8 per game this season), but it's looking like she'll have her work cut out for her against St. George's dominant defense.
