Volleyball Recap: West Marion Trojans vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

After flying high against Salem on Monday, West Marion came back down to earth. The Trojans came up short against the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-13, 25-10.

Kayden Mangum was nothing short of spectacular for Presbyterian Christian: she had 16 digs and six aces. That's the most digs Mangum has posted over her last two matches.

West Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Presbyterian Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, West Marion and Presbyterian Christian will both be playing Tylertown the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bobcats will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
