Luther Prep extended their postseason success on Saturday against Living Word Lutheran. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Timberwolves. The Phoenix are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 13 straight.

Lorelei Candler paced Luther Prep's offense, picking up 14 kills. Candler really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 25. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Living Word Lutheran's loss came despite strong showings from Makenna Bynum and Delaney Winkelmann. Bynum had 21 digs and two assists, while Winkelmann had nine kills, eight digs, and four aces. Bynum is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Luther Prep's victory bumped their record up to 34-3. As for Living Word Lutheran, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six matches and leaves them with a 33-8 record.

Looking ahead, Luther Prep will take on Manitowoc Lutheran on Friday. Living Word Lutheran does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
