Basketball Recap: Darlington Comes Up Short

If Darlington was feeling good fresh off their 53-28 takedown of Haralson County last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Darlington Tigers fell just short of the Model Blue Devils by a score of 43-41 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since January 17th.

Darlington's defeat dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Model, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-5.

Darlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Model, they will challenge Temple at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
