Basketball Game Preview: Northern Heights Wildcats vs. Lebo Wolves

The Northern Heights Wildcats are taking a road trip to challenge the Lebo Wolves at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Northern Heights came up short against Madison and fell 46-35. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, Lebo was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 42-38 to Burlingame. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Bearcats are ranked 71st).

Northern Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Lebo, they dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
