Basketball Recap: Fayetteville Christian Has No Trouble Against Village Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against The Burlington School, Fayetteville Christian was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 26-11 win over the Village Christian Academy Knights. That 15 point margin sets a new team best for the Warriors this season.

Fayetteville Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Star Coleman, who posted seven points. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Johnson, who had six points.

Fayetteville Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Village Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Fayetteville Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against The O'Neal School at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Village Christian Academy, they will face off against Wayne Christian at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Village Christian Academy is facing Wayne Christian at the right time seeing as Wayne Christian is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
