Cooper is 7-2 against Cumby since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cooper Bulldogs will head out to square off against the Cumby Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Cooper has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Cooper is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed by Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy to the tune of 95-32 on Friday. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 29 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Cumby came up short against Boles on Friday and fell 76-69. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (68), the Trojans still had to take the loss.

Cooper will need focus on slowing down Chett Vaughan, one of several Cumby players who made an impact when they last played. He went 7 for 14 on his way to 22 points. Vaughan's evening made it 31 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Chayton Vaughan was another key player, putting up 11 points in addition to seven steals and five assists.

Even though they lost, Cumby smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Cooper is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points per game. As for Cumby, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-14.

Everything came up roses for Cooper against Cumby when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 77-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cooper since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
