Dimond posted their closest win since September 27th on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chugiak Mustangs, sneaking past 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Lynx in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won nine in a row.

Nia Cook paced Dimond's offense, picking up ten kills. Cook got some help from Puao Asailevai and her 13 assists. Asailevai was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Dimond's win bumped their record up to 27-10-1. As for Chugiak, their defeat dropped their record down to 28-13-1.

Dimond wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against South Anchorage on the 25th. As for Chugiak, they will take on Bartlett at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
