Soccer Recap: Alamosa Starts Season with Win Against Harrison

Alamosa had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They beat the Harrison Panthers by a goal, winning 2-1. For Alamosa, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win Harrison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Leah Higareda was the driving force of Alamosa's attack as she scored both of Alamosa's goals.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 3-3.

Alamosa didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Florence on the 25th. As for Harrison, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Elizabeth on the 25th.
