Volleyball Recap: Burney Raiders vs. Chester Volcanoes

After flying high against Surprise Valley last Thursday, Burney came back down to earth. The Burney Raiders fell 3-1 to the Chester Volcanoes on Tuesday. The Raiders haven't had much luck with the Volcanoes recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 18-25, 25-17, 25-6.

Despite the defeat, Burney saw an underclassman step up: Alexis Witzel had 13 digs, six kills, four aces, and four aces. That's the most aces Witzel has posted since back in August. Victoria Jimenez-Garcia was another key player, getting 18 digs and two kills.
