League recap: Prince RVT extends winning streak with victory over Wolcott RVT

Prince RVT added to the longest winning streak in Constitution State this week by beating Wolcott RVT, 45-18. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.

Cheney RVT and Wilcox RVT played the closest game in the league this week, with Cheney RVT eventually emerging with a 24-20 victory. Travon Holder ran for 178 yards and caught 1 pass for 17 yards during the win.

The Indians' dynamic duo of Jack Berryman and Collin Jandreau proved tough for the Beavers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Berryman threw for 124 yards and 1 touchdown and Jandreau had 60 yards receiving. Daniel Guodace helped Wilcox RVT's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 59 yards.

Jose Cotto was a beast in the backfield as Bullard-Havens topped Platt RVT.

Cotto provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Tigers bested the Panthers. Cotto's key target this week was Hakeem Fletcher, who caught 2 passes for 43 yards.

6-foot-2 quarterback Rayshawn Phillips of Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First is the league leader in passing yards this season with 801. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Guodace. The Wilcox RVT star has 21 catches for 324 yards.

At the moment, the Trailblazers are in second, while East Hampton/Vinal RVT is in third.

Capital Prep/Classical Magnet/Achievement First took down Abbott RVT 52-8 last week, the largest margin of any game. Bennie Fulse ran for 163 yards in the win.
