Softball Recap: Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda on Friday, Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman came back down to earth. The Jaguars fell just short of the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs by a score of 9-7 on Monday. The Jaguars haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 6-7-1.

Coincidentally, Granada-Huntley-East Chain/Martin Luther/Truman and Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton will both be playing New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will head out to face the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bulldogs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
