Basketball Game Preview: Clarkston Bantams vs. North Central Wolfpack

The Clarkston Bantams will challenge the North Central Wolfpack at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Clarkston knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully North Central likes a good challenge.

Clarkston is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Rogers: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Clarkston blew Rogers out of the water with a 78-18 final score. The Bantams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, North Central came up short against West Valley on Tuesday and fell 45-37. The Wolfpack haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

North Central's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-9. As for Clarkston, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.
