Baseball Preview: Tuscarora Huskies vs. Penfield Patriots
The Tuscarora Huskies will challenge the Penfield Patriots at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Tuscarora is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over Liverpool on Wednesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Huskies as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Ashton Peshke made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Peshke was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in June of 2024.

Meanwhile, Penfield strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past Elmira 8-1.
Dom Denecke looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
