Basketball Recap: Salisbury Christian Takes a Loss

Salisbury Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eastern Shore HomeSchool Mavericks, falling 61-40. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Salisbury Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-39 on December 9th.

Salisbury Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Eastern Shore HomeSchool, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salisbury Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chincoteague at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Eastern Shore HomeSchool will also get a bit of a break before their next contest: they'll face off against Chestertown Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
