Soccer Recap: Raymore-Peculiar Comes Up Short

Raymore-Peculiar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lee's Summit West Titans. While losing is never fun, Raymore-Peculiar can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 156th, while Lee's Summit West are ranked 28th).

Raymore-Peculiar's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lee's Summit West, their win bumped their record up to 14-10.

Raymore-Peculiar does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lee's Summit West, they will venture away from home to challenge Lee's Summit North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
