Sardis is a perfect 3-0 against Brewer since September of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Sardis has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 29.

Sardis made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Fairview, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Lions fell just short of the Aggies by a score of 41-39 on Friday. On the bright side, the 39- point performance marked the Lions' highest-scoring game to date.

Sardis might have lost, but man, Grant Coe was a machine: he rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 200 yards and two TDs on only 19 passes. Kaidence Wilson was Coe's top target, picking up 11 receiving yards and one touchdown, while also rushing for 36 yards and one score.

Meanwhile, Brewer played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 49-22 loss at the hands of Douglas. The Patriots gained 109 more yards on the day, but it was the Eagles that made the best use of them.

Sardis will need to focus on slowing down Cole Drinkard, one of several Brewer players who made an impact when they last played. He rushed for 61 yards and a pair of TDs, and also threw for 234 yards on 16 of 26 attempts. 127 of Drinkard's passing yards were hauled in by Hunter Knighten.

Sardis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Brewer, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Sardis against Brewer in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 61-26 win. In that contest, the Lions amassed a halftime lead of 34-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
