Volleyball Recap: South Salem Wins High-Profile Game Against Silverton

South Salem faced Silverton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Saxons were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Foxes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on April 1st.

South Salem not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Silverton between 20 and 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Matheus Borges paced South Salem's offense, picking up 14 kills. Borges got some help from Connor Wolfgram and his 31 assists. Wolfgram was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
