Baseball Recap: Northern Bedford County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Northern Bedford County can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Southern Fulton Indians on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.

Aaron Bowers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. He has become a key player for Northern Bedford County: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 7-8 otherwise.

Northern Bedford County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Southern Fulton, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 20-1.

As of now, neither Northern Bedford County nor the Indians have any future games scheduled.
