Softball Recap: Hickory Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hickory's offense. They lost 14-0 to the North Lincoln Knights on Thursday. The Red Tornadoes haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Hickory's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for North Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Hickory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Lincoln, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Kings Mountain on the 6th.
