After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five contests, Windermere Prep finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Geneva Knights. The Lakers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Windermere Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylie Konstand, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Windermere Prep's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Geneva, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Windermere Prep will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Olympia at 4:30 p.m. on March 24th. As for Geneva, they will be playing at home against Trinity Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
