See the stellar play to end the first half on Friday.

The battle of Walnut Creek elicits a lot of emotion between the football teams of Northgate (Walnut Creek, Calif.) and Las Lomas.

On Friday night, it also elicited a lot of excitement. Especially right before halftime.

Northgate pulled off a perfect hook-and-lateral, all the way to the end zone. Quarterback Jack Fulp completed a short out to Semisi Saluni, who at the last moment pitched it perfectly Edge Flores, who did the rest, scooting almost half the field down the left sideline for the 50-yard touchdown.

The play wasn't poorly defended, but Flores made a couple really good moves and was tackled just as he crossed the line.

Northgate, under head coach Ben Ballard, went on to win 41-21 to improve to 2-1.
