Volleyball Game Preview: Westfall Mustangs vs. Chillicothe Cavaliers

Westfall hasn't had much luck against Chillicothe recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will square off against the Cavaliers at 6:30 p.m.

Westfall is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Ross County Christian Academy.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-11.

Meanwhile, Chillicothe waltzed into their game on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Cougars 3-0.

One reason for the win was Chillicothe's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

Westfall's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chillicothe, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Westfall suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Chillicothe when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Mustangs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
