Soccer Game Preview: Jordan vs. Cinco Ranch

The Jordan Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Cinco Ranch Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Jordan's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against Morton Ranch by a score of 2-0. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Mavericks are ranked 387th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Aiden Erol and Kaelen Villarson scored both of Jordan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Cinco Ranch was a bit more limited in their matchup on Saturday. They fell just short of Katy Taylor by a score of 2-1. Samuel Perafan was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

Cinco Ranch has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 6-0-1.
