Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Bellece Bendix and Hayven Croce Lead Mohawk to Victory + How To Watch

Mohawk waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Alsea Wolverines. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Mohawk was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 18-25, 25-20, 25-15.

Mohawk was led to victory by Hayven Croce and Bellece Bendix. Croce had 16 digs and six aces, while Bendix had 12 digs and two aces. Bendix is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last ten games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Mohawk was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 21 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six contests.

Mohawk's win bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Alsea, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

Coincidentally, Mohawk and Alsea will both be playing Triangle Lake the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Lakers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Wolverines will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
