Soccer Recap: Sturgeon Bay Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Sturgeon Bay unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Sturgeon Bay were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Luxemburg-Casco apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Looking ahead, Sturgeon Bay will square off against Waterford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Luxemburg-Casco, they will take on Green Bay East at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
