Dunbar has gone 9-1 against Bell recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Dunbar Crimson Tide are taking a road trip to challenge the Bell Griffins at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Dunbar is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since December 11, 2024 on Saturday. They were outmatched by Carver Vo-Tech and fell 81-45. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crimson Tide came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 15th in District of Columbia, while the Bears are ranked 79th in Maryland).

Meanwhile, Bell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by Eastern 76-36.

Dunbar dropped their record down to 6-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Everything came up roses for Dunbar against Bell in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 76-29 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dunbar since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
