Basketball Recap: Sylvan Hills Piles Up the Points Against Beebe

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maumelle, Sylvan Hills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 70-39 victory over the Beebe Badgers. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Badgers are ranked 119th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sylvan Hills is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.6 points per game. As for Beebe, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Sylvan Hills will face off against Greenbrier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beebe, they will head out on the road to challenge Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
