Maclay benefitted from Evers in 22-1 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Tuesday Anelise Evers stepped things up a notch to give Maclay the 'W'. Evers made a splash, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, a triple, and two RBI. It looks like she has Jefferson County's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them, too.
Evers and Maclay will face off against North Florida Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maclay has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2017, but a win here would be a good start.
