Preview: Seminole County Indians vs. Randolph-Clay Red Devils

After two games on the road, Seminole County is heading back home. They will take on the Randolph-Clay Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Seminole County scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 72-52 margin over Stewart County. Seminole County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 20 points or more this season.

Seminole County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Equeasha Daniels out in front who scored 17 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daniels has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Taneria Williams, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.

Randolph-Clay posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Early County 38-36.

Seminole County is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Randolph-Clay, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Seminole County barely slipped by Randolph-Clay in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, winning 38-37. Will Seminole County repeat their success, or does Randolph-Clay have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
