Basketball Recap: East Carter Comes Up Short

East Carter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 60-52 to the Doniphan Dons. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Redbirds this season, with their most recent loss being a 58-40 defeat back in December of 2024.

East Carter's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Doniphan, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-8.

East Carter will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Eminence at 6:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Doniphan, they will venture away from home to challenge Clarkton at 5:00 p.m. on February 15th.
