Baseball Recap: Highland Wins Going Away Against Highlands Ranch

Highland never got on the board in their matchup last Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Highlands Ranch on Saturday. They blew past the Falcons 10-2. Considering the Hawks have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Peyton Gill looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Beau Tarwater was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Gage Tarwater, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Highland now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Highlands Ranch, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Highland wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 loss against Williams Field on the 25th. As for Highlands Ranch, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Grandview on the 26th.
